CAMBRIDGE, U.K. — Cambridge RF has just completed its second year of operation and continues to grow at a healthy rate. The company, located in Fulbourn near Cambridge, provides RF-based design services and consultancy, and was formed in 2003 by Dr. Chris Potter.
Cambridge RF is also pleased to announce that Ian Thomson has joined as Business Development Manager.
'We are delighted to add Ian's wide experience of both the electronics industry and design services to boost Cambridge RF's capability', said Dr. Potter.
Ian has spent 15 years in design consultancy with both Symbionics and PA Consulting Group, working on the development of digital RF products from the early days of GSM and cordless telephony. Cambridge RF's customers will also benefit from his direct knowledge of the industry, resulting from periods with companies including BAe Systems, Psion Computers and most recently as Director of Engineering at Aeroflex Test Solutions.
